-little known facts about me-

I love telling stories, but my favourites are the visual ones. I am all about celebrating our lives at every opportunity. At this point in time I have spent exactly half of my life in London. I was born in Greece, I am Greek and my husband is English, and we have two Greeklish boys together. I love that we have twice the reasons to celebrate, and I believe that the more we experience the better we understand ourselves.

 

Since moving to our house in Athens, we have also become the neighbours/guardians of two tortoises that live in our yard.

 

-my background-

I grew up in Athens and moved to London to study Architecture. Since then, I have lived, worked and grown my family between the two cities. Adapting to a new city made me acutely aware of the differences and nuances between the two cultures. And yet, how similar we all really are.

-my approach-

As an architect I love precision and clean cuts, so it felt like destiny when I found papercutting. I love taking something as ordinary as a piece of paper and through attention and dedication it becomes something precious and personal. Opposite to building, here I take away one by one the little pieces of paper that don't belong to the story I want to tell, until a unique image is created.

-my vibes-

I am a big sucker for grand gestures and the first one to cry when hearing a love story. On the other hand, I am inspired by the little things and I have a great love for the daily and ordinary. I find something special in putting the details together, taking something seemingly trivial, and making it unique. Daily routines, everyday adventures, anecdotes and little moments, when pieced together, create really beautiful images.
